Lynda Martin Livesay

Lynda Martin Livesay, 83, of Hopewell, VA, died Friday, January 29, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Archie W. Martin Sr. and Ruth Jones Martin. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Roy Marshall Livesay; brother, Archie W. Martin Jr. She is survived by her sons, Douglas, Darrell; grandchildren, Adam (Megan), Cynthia; sister, Kaye Ballowe; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. We would also like to thank our Encompass Hospice caregivers, Debbie Payne and Julie Reyes for their support and care. Lynda had been a faithful member for 10 years at Faith Baptist Church, worked for JW Enochs for 5 years, West End School for 15 years and Parks and Recreations for 10 years. Lynda was very passionate about gardening. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday February 4, 2021 at the Faith Baptist Church 5501 Middle Rd. Prince George, VA 23875. Interment will follow at Appomattox Cemetery, 703 North 21st Ave. Hopewell, VA 23860.
