Lynda Maxine Prater

Lynda Maxine Prater, 87, of Prince George, passed away, Saturday, June 4, 2016.
She is the daughter of the late, Charlie Allen and Ethel Cox Turner. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Prater, Sr. and one brother.
Lynda is survived by her son, Raymond B. Prater, Jr.; daughter, Sandra Prater Johnson (BJ); three brothers; one sister; three grandsons; six granddaughters; four great-grandchildren and a large extended family.
The family will receive friends, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 820 W. Broadway Hopewell, VA 23860.
A graveside service will be held, 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, 11302 Merchants Hope Rd. Prince George, VA 23860.
