Mabel Blevins

Mabel Frances Atkins Blevins, 84, of Prince George, died Friday, November 18, 2005 in Hopewell Health Care Center. She was born in Franklin County, Virginia and had been a resident of Hopewell since 1962. Mrs. Blevins was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William David & Anne Elizabeth Turner Atkins her husband Joel Anderson Blevins, Jr., a son, C. David Cooper, a daughter, Wanda W. Cannon. Mrs. Blevins is survived by two sons, Gary E. Cooper and his wife Merle of Upper Marlboro, MD, Lonnie Dale Cooper and his wife Thelma of Hopewell, one daughter, Anita Louise Lee and her husband Jimmy of Hopewell, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, one sister, Etholine A. Harshman of Hopewell. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 20, 2005 from 2:00 to 3:30 P.M. in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Monday, November 21, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. in Wesley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne Rickman, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George County, Virginia.
