Mabel Mason Williams

Mrs. Mabel M. Williams, age 93 of McKenney, VA, passed away on Saturday, July 5th, 2014 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was born in Alto, GA, the daughter of the late Edward E. Mason and May Phipps Mason. Mabel was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Milton M. "Mac" Williams and her son, John Milton Williams. Mabel enjoyed knitting, sewing, quilting and painting. She is survived by 3 granddaughters, Christina Getty, Clara Lewis and Cindy Mae Williams, 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 10:00 am at Rocky Run United Methodist Church, where she was a long time member. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rocky Run United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 14925 Glebe Road, Dewitt, VA 23840.
