Magdalene Lipchak King

Magdalene “Maggie” Lipchak King, 85, of Disputanta, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016. Born in Prince George, VA, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Lipchak and Clara Skalicky Lipchak. She was also preceded in death by 9 siblings. Maggie loved spending time by the ocean surf fishing. She was an avid bowler and softball player. She enjoyed keeping score of her children’s and grandchildren’s baseball games. Her true passion in life was her family. Maggie is survived by her husband of 66 years, Marion “Mucky” King; four children, Carol Dralle (Scott), Susan Harrison (Richard), Wayne King, Christopher King (Jenny); six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 pm on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Prince George Food Bank.
