MAGGIE WELLS COOK, 98, died Saturday, August 20, 2005, at her residence. Born on July 8, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Reginald Lee and Margaret Harris Wells and the wife of the late Robert H. Cook, Jr.

She is survived by five sons: Robert L. Cook and wife, Nancy and John R. Cook and wife, Lynda of Ivor; Leonard L. Cook and wife, Gloria of Sarah, Mississippi; Richard E. Cook and wife, Teresa of Macon, Georgia; Joseph F. Cook and wife, Delores of Windsor; sixteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and one sister, Annie W. Jones of Windsor.

Mrs. Cook was predeceased by three sons: Benjamin F. Cook, Sr., Thomas D. Cook, Sr., and William Cook.

She was a member of Mill Swamp Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Woman?s Bible Class.

Funeral services will be conducted at Mill Swamp Baptist Church at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 23, 2005, with Rev. Jim Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Mill Swamp Baptist Church on Monday, August 22, 2005, from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Donations may be made to the Mill Swamp Baptist Church Building Fund, 6329 Mill Swamp Road, Ivor, VA 23866.
