Maggie Seymour

Maggie Stell â??Nannyâ? Seymour, 91, of Petersburg died Friday, June 2, 2006 in Southside Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Petersburg and daughter of the late Charles Ballard and Mary Virginia Stell. She was preceded in death by two children, Joyce S. Jordan and Frederick â??Fritzyâ? Seymour. She is survived by six children, Dorothy S. Jordan, Ernestine S. Garrett, Barbara S. Mohn, Ronald Seymour, Randy Seymour and Phillip Seymour; a brother, Grover Stell; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and numerous children who knew her as â??Nannyâ?. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. The funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Elvis Stephens of Crater View Baptist Church officiating.
