Maggie Nickie Trayer

Maggie (Nickie) Trayer, 85, of Chester, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014. Mrs. Trayer was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Harold Trayer. She is survived by her children, Kenneth Trayer and his wife, Linda, Rhonda Puryear and her husband, David, and Pamela Morrison and her husband, Eric; one brother, Johnny Albert; grandchildren, Carrie Holshouser, Jennifer Trayer, Vance Milton, Megan Morrison, Lisa Tinsley, Ryan Puryear, and David Puryear Jr.; and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Officers’ Wives Club of Bellwood for over forty years, and a member of Chester Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 5, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg.
