Maggie Tuck

Maggie Lynch Tuck, age 74, of Chester, VA, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2009. She was born in Bedford, VA, the daughter of the late, Edgar and Janie Brown Lynch. Maggie was retired from Wachovia Bank in Chester after 30 years of service. She was also a retailer of antiques in the Chester area for many years. Maggie was a member of the Church of Christ, Colonial Heights, VA, and the Radford Baptist Church, Moneta, VA. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Melvin R. Tuck; four children, Michael R. Tuck and wife, Terry, Terri T. Lumpkin and husband, Donald, all of Midlothian, Dottie T. Woodard and husband, Mario of Richmond, and Mark S. Tuck and wife, Sandy of Chester; six grandchildren, Priscilla, Jessica, Megan, Heather, Wesley and Jacob; one great-grandchild, Mary Grace; a brother, Oather Lynch of Vinton, VA; and other family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday, April 8, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Fishburne Military School, Waynesboro, VA, in memory of Michael Dawson Woodard.
