Maggie Louise Greene Wells, 94, of Edgecombe County, NC, passed peacefully into God's loving arms on March 21, 2025. She is now reunited with her loving husband, Earl O. Wells, Sr., of 61 years; her son, David K. Wells; and many other beloved family members and friends. She is survived by her loving sister, Maurice Dale Greene; her children, Earl O. Wells, Jr., Bonnie Lawson, Cynthia Meyers and husband, David, and Rafaela Wells; her grandchildren, Tracy Farias and husband, Frank, Kevin Lawson and wife, Bree, Angela Bittenbender and husband, Mat, Bruce Lawson, Earl Wells III and wife, Kim, Derek Meyers and wife, Natalie, Adam Wells and wife, Shannon, and Brent Meyers and wife, Crystal; seventeen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Maggie was loved by all who knew her and had the strength of a warrior saint. No matter the trial or tribulation she faced, she stood firm in her faith and in her determination to protect her loved ones. Her sacrifices were many and her love was unconditional and unending. She had a smile that would warm your heart and light up the room and beautiful blue eyes that shone with the light and love of Jesus. Join us in honoring her and celebrating the joyous victory of a saint who is now at peace in her eternal home. The family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm, on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place in the chapel the following day at 11am, on Monday, March 31, 2025. Interment following the service at Southlawn Memorial Park in Prince George, VA.
