Mamie Sulc

Mamie Creel Sulc, 91, of Prince George, Virginia, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, February 25, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Vaclav (Jim) Sulc; her parents, Walter A. Creel and Kathleen Boyette Creel; two sisters, Esther Creel Graham and Ruby Creel Boss; and a grandson, Mason Dean Edwards. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a lifelong member of West End Presbyterian Church in Hopewell, Virginia. Mamie was a homemaker and drove the school bus for Prince George County for more than 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, she loved to go and never turned down a trip or dinner out. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. Mamie is survived by her children, three sons, Bruce A. Sulc, Sr. (Vickie), James K. Sulc, Sr. (Lynn), Timothy A. Sulc; and her daughter, Tonya S. Edwards (Terry); ten grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren, with a thirteenth on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 820 W. Broadway Avenue, Hopewell, VA. A service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
