Marcia Ann Brown

Marcia Ann Grimsley, 63, of Hopewell, Virginia, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024. Marcia is proceeded in death by her mother Pearl Blevins; father, James "Jim" Blevins; brother, Joseph Blevins; sisters, Karen "Sue" Atkins and Emma "Shelly" Blevins. She is survived by her beloved husband, Marvin "Curtis" Grimsley; sons, Randy Runion (Amy) and Joseph Maynard (Amanda); stepdaughter, Leighanna Finberg (Matt); grandsons, Gabriel, Andrew, Jacob, and Matthew Runion; granddaughter, Everleigh Finberg; brother, Scottie Blevins; brother-in-law, Billy Atkins; niece, Tiffany Clary (Jamal); special family friend, Will Nunnally, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Marcia loved to take road trips with her husband to the mountains, and to North Carolina to visit family and to attend the festivals there. She was passionate about music, and she loved to dance. Her greatest joys in life were her husband, kids, and grandkids. Marcia will always be remembered as a free-spirited woman who loved to help those in need and had a smile that would light up the room.

In her final days she found comfort through her faith in the Lord, and by the care she was given by her husband, Curtis and her niece, Tiffany Clary. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you donate to the American Cancer Society.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Way Church located at 5201 Courthouse Road, Prince George, VA 23875.
