Margaret Ager, age 73, of Locust Hill, VA, died August 19, 2007. Born in Petersburg, VA, she was the daughter of James and Caroline Lewis. Margaret was preceded in death by a husband Francis O. Andrews. As a young mother, she was the chief of transportation for the family, whether it was to boy scouts, baseball practice, or dance lessons. She rarely missed an opportunity to go fishing, and enjoyed it greatly. One of her largest catches was her own knee, which took place during a night fishing excursion with the family. She was also the former owner and operator of the Community Grocery on Harrowgate Rd., Chester. Mrs. Ager is survived by her husband Granger â??Buddyâ? M. Ager, children Francis â??Andyâ? Andrews Jr., and wife Susan, of Chesterfield, VA; Michael W. Andrews, and wife Kimberly, of Chester, VA; Patricia â??Pattyâ? Andrews Mountcastle, and husband Paul, of Ruther Glen, VA; six grandchildren, Michele Mayton Brookshire, Jamie Mayton, Gaston C. Andrews, Casey M. Andrews, Jennifer L. Andrews, & Stacy N. Andrews; five great-grandchildren, Kyle Andrew Brookshire, Cody Jay Brookshire, Caila Leigh Mullen, Chainey Mullen, & Kylie Marie Mayton; a step-son, Wes Ager; and step-daughter, Paula Archer. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home of Chesterfield on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will follow there on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. with interment in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
