Margaret Hamlin Bendall

Margaret Hamlin Bendall, 89, of Waverly, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Judkins Hamlin and Carrie Mae Emory; husband, Glenn Harrison Bendall, Sr.; and son, Glenn H. Bendall, Jr. Margaret loved hunting and fishing. She is survived by her son, Thomas W. Bendall Sr. (Rosie); daughter, Sue B. Winfield (Barney); five grandchildren, Laurie LaBlanc (Jim), Tommy Bendall, Jr. (Diana), Lucy J. Elder (Ricky), Linwood Johnson, Jr. (Tara), and Margaret Ann Cooke; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Grace Ann Bailey (Don) of Leslie, MO; and several nieces and nephews. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the home of Sue Winfield, 3555 Carson Hills Lane, Carson, VA 23830, Friday, July 7, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Margaret to a charity of your choice. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
