Margaret Cerny Blaha, 87 of Dinwiddie died Thursday, February 19, 2004. She was a native of Prince George and daughter of the late Rudolf and Mildred Benysek Cerny. She was the widow of Louis Joseph Blaha, Sr. She was retired from Brown & Williamson Tobacco with 21 years of service. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Wilson Cerny, Ernest L. Cerny, Joseph C. Cerny and Paul W. Cerny, Sr. She is survived by three sons and wives, Louis J. (Sonny) and Thelma Blaha, Jr., Alvin W. and Nina Blaha, David E. and Janine Blaha; eleven grandchildren, Gail Shelley (Randy), Keith Blaha, Patty Moody, Cindy A. Blaha, Eric M. Blaha (Debra), David E. Blaha, Jr. (Amy), Stacie R. Moorman (Chad), Christopher T. Blaha, Michael Chenard, Monique Chenard and Brandon Rou; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Pauline C. Drilling (Elmo), one step-brother, Frank Michalek (Helen), four sisters-in-law, Augusta Cerny, Hattie Cerny, Ruth Cerny and Emily Cerny and numerous nieces and nephews. Extended family, Alease Andrews, Annie Valenta, William Mayton and Family, C.B. Grant, Edward Jarratt, Anne Cassidy and Helen Cole. Mass of Resurrection will be conducted Saturday 11 am St.John’s Catholic Church. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park. Christian Wake will be conducted Friday 7 PM at the J.T. Morriss Funeral Home, Petersburg with visitation to follow until 8:30 PM.
