Margaret Elmore

Mrs. Margaret Hendrick Elmore, 91, of Petersburg, widow of Wilbur T. Elmore, Jr., died Friday, January 2, 2004, at her home. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Russell Elmore and his wife, Lynda Dyson Elmore of Aurora, Il. and William Carroll Elmore and his wife, Cynthia Hayward Elmore of Woodbridge, Va.; her granddaughter, Katy Lee Elmore of Bristow, Va. and her surviving sister, Virginia Kabrick of Wilson, NC as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Lawrenceville, Va., Mrs. Elmore attended Mary Washington College. She was a long time resident of Petersburg, Va. and a member of Saint Mark’s United Methodist Church.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11am Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Johnston officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at 3 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Lawrenceville
