Margaret F. Wells

Margaret Alise Fisher Wells, 89, of Dinwiddie County, departed from this life on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Joseph Fisher and Ora Lee Moore Fisher Maitland, husband of 65 years Herbert Hamilton â??Bubbaâ? Wells, and one daughter, Barbara Jean Wells. Mrs. Wells attended Monumental Baptist Church, Petersburg and retired from Defense General Supply (Bellwood). She is survived by her grandson, Rodney F. Herbert and friend, Sheila; three great-grandsons, Buck Herbert, Keith Herbert, and Ryan Herbert; two great-great-grandchildren, Tyler and Emily Herbert; two nieces, Donna M. McFarland and husband, Robert, and Judy M. Bowles and husband, Richard; sister-in-law, Mary Lewis. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Thursday, March 4, 2010 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, March 5, 2010 at Blandford Cemetery with Pastor Barry Ginn officiating.
