Margaret P. Ford

Margaret P. Ford, 89, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2012. Born in Petersburg, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Gladys Poe. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Arthur Ford. Margaret was a proud member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Petersburg for an outstanding 65 years. She is survived by daughters, Barbara White and husband, Gordon of New Bern, NC, Bonnie Ford of Richmond, VA, Donna Campbell and husband, Willis of Greensboro, NC; brothers, Edgar “Skippy” and Ronald Poe; five grandchildren, Gordon, Trevor, Patrick, Aimee, and Bill; and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, November 5, 2012 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 847 W. Washington Street, Petersburg, VA 23803.Interment to follow in Blandford Cemetery.
