Margaret Halloway

Margaret Eleanor Halloway, 97, of Petersburg, Virginia passed away Friday April 22, 2011 surrounded by her loving daughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Burrell Halloway and her parents, Lee Upshire and Cora Belle Henry Sheally. Mrs. Halloway was a charter member of Saint Marks United Methodist Church and a member of the Ladies Church Circle. She was a loving mother and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and they loved their NaNa. She is survived by her daughters; JoAnne H. Sammons of Chicago Ill., Margaret â??Peggyâ? H. Carter of Fredericksburg, Barbara H. Cork and friend Larry of Newport News, Nancy Halloway-Williams and husband, Timothy Hugh of Prince George, numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. A graveside service will be Tuesday April 26, 2011 at 1:00 pm in Blandford Cemetery with Pastor Robert Hauck officiating. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
