Margaret Baker Joswick

Margaret “Poochie” Baker Joswick 78, of Hopewell passed away on Monday October 12, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Greene and Alexandrina Smith Baker; a brother, Jack Baker. Poochie is survived by her loving husband, Bernard T. Joswick Jr.; sons, Ronnie Joswick and his wife, Rhonda, Roger Joswick; her grandchildren, Kristin Joswick Davis and her husband, Chris, Amanda Joswick, and Brandon Joswick; a sister, Evelyn B. Warthan and her husband, Melvin; her brothers, Russell Baker and his wife, Mary, Hubert Baker; a special niece Tina Tuck and her husband, Wayne; several other nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday October 17, 2015 at Unity Baptist Church 4951 Mount Sinai Road Prince George VA 23875, with interment to follow in Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 am. Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Unity Baptist Church. The family would like to thank the Sunday school class of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and also Unity Baptist Church for the loving care and support during her illness; she immensely enjoyed all the cards and visits from family and friends.
