Margaret M. Lapierre

Margaret M. LaPierre, of Chesterfield, Virginia passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 19, 2018 at The Crossings at Ironbridge where she had been residing for the past year. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Frank H. LaPierre; and son, Brett LaPierre. She is survived by her son, Jan (Margaret); and several nieces and nephews. Margaret devoted her life to serving the Lord. She taught Sunday School, was active in many church organizations and faithfully supported her church, several radio ministries and charities. She was an invaluable asset to her husband in his ministry. The family would like to thank the many members of Kingsland Baptist Church who provided assistance and care to both Rev. LaPierre and Mrs. LaPierre. These deeds of kindness such as picking up the trash, cutting grass, raking leaves, making electrical and plumbing repairs, providing personal care and grooming, helping with house cleaning and numerous others will always be gratefully remembered. A visitation will be held at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday April 24, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Kingsland Baptist Church 8801 Perrymont Road at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2018.
