Margaret Lowery

Margaret Christey Lowery, age 84, of Chesterfield died Monday, April 11, 2011. She was born in Richmond, the daughter of the late Charles E. and Katy Truesdale Christey. Mrs. Lowery was also preceded in death by two husbands, Joseph M. Mountfort and James A. Lowery, Sr. ; and two sons, Bruce D. and Richard J. Mountfort. Mrs. Lowery is survived by her daughters, Joann C. Mountfort, Katherine M. Wells, and Bonnie M. Cloud; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Chester chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will follow on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Johnâ??s Episcopal Church, Chester, VA, with interment to follow in the Sunset Memorial Park.
