Margaret Mary Mcdonough

Margaret “Peggy” Mary McDonough, 80, of Chester, VA, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021. The daughter of the late David Burns and Marguerite Martinis, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. McDonough and stepdaughter, Lorraine Magnotto. Margaret was a graduate of Quincy City Hospital School of Nursing in Quincy, MA. She was a life long Geriatric Registered Nurse and dedicated her entire career to the field. She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church and a member of Fontbonne Academy’s first graduating class. She is survived by her daughter, Julia Silvestri of Richmond, VA; stepdaughter, Colleen Addison of Luray, VA; two granddaughters, Claudia and Emma Densley of Richmond VA and brother, David Burns and his wife Patricia, of Plymouth, MA. Family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. and interment at Sunset Memorial Park immediately after.
