Margaret Elizabeth Patterson

Margaret Elizabeth Rice Patterson, 84, of Petersburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 06, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband Brady R. Patterson; parents, Daniel and Edith Rice; siblings, Dan Rice Jr., Edith L. Lewis, Joyce Andrews, Rachel Williams, Gloria Ashby, Linda Bailey, Sue Casto, and Henry Rice. She is survived by her children, James R. Patterson, Cindy Franklin, and Karen G. Patterson; grandchildren, Kristina Patterson-Marcinkevich (Aaron), Bobby “Boo” Franklin (Vicki), Danny R. Franklin (Tabitha), Elizabeth Doggett (Greg), April G. Drake (Mat), Warren L. Fitts III; great-grandchildren, Rad, Jessica, Chloe, Korri, Madison, Drake, Raina, Benjamin, Corey, and Brady; siblings Wayne Rice, Robert Earl Rice, James Rice, Grace Crowe, and Peggy Stephens; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Friday, March 9, at the Petersburg chapel of the J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service.
