Margaret Pead

Margaret Mitchell Pead, 82, of Hopewell passed away Friday, April 23, 2004. She was a native of Charlotte County born the daughter of the late Eddie and Amanda Mitchell. She was a retired Lab Technician from Stone Container formerly Continental Can and a longtime member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a grandson William Howard Ervin III and is survived by five children. Anne Libron and husband John, Gloria Watkins and husband Charlie, Merle Pead and wife Anita, Betty Sue Angle and husband Terry, Eddie Pead and wife Elisabeth; ten grandchildren Christopher Ervin, Mitzi, Mindy and Cameron Watkins, Noelle and Dustin Pead, Chad and Teri Blair Angle, Michael and Daniel Pead; eight great-grandchildren; one sister Hilda Johnson; and one brother Hugh Mitchell. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 27th at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Baptist Church with Ken Hendricks officiating. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday night at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son from 7 to 8:30 pm.
