Margaret Rhodes

Margaret Kathleen Rhodes, 89, of Disputanta went to be with the Lord on Tuesday September 8, 2009. She was the daughter of the late James Herbert & Leslie Warren Procise and the widow of William â??Bobâ? Rhodes whom she was married to for 64 wonderful years. She was a lifelong member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Petersburg where she was a Sunday School Teacher for many years and was a member of the XYZ Club. She then joined Salem United Methodist Church in Carson where she attended regularly as long as she was able. She is survived by a daughter: Marion Christine R. Williams & husband Frankie of Carlisle PA., sons: Claiborne R. Rhodes & wife Betty Jean of Disputanta, James H. Rhodes of San Antonio Texas, Kenneth R. Rhodes & wife Bobbie of Colonial Heights, Larry F. Rhodes & wife Linda of Prince George, Charles H. Rhodes of Chesterfield, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday at 10:00 AM with Rev. Gary Sims officiating. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park.
