Margaret Ann Russell

Mrs. Margaret Ann (Eggleston) Russell, 83, of Chester, VA passed away peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Brightview Baldwin Park Retirement Community, Staunton VA. Margaret was born on May 4, 1934 in Roanoke VA. She was a devoted and loving wife to Wilson Russell for 66 years. She also was a very dedicated mother that faithfully loved and raised her three children, who were very blessed to have her as their mother. Margaret is survived by her husband Wilson S. Russell; her brother Claude Eggleston of Roanoke VA; and her three children, Robert Russell (Rhonda) of Stuarts Draft VA; David Russell (Gayle) of Mooresville NC; Sue Blazek (Glenn) of Slidell LA; her 7 grandchildren, Rebekah Ferrin, (Nathan); Daniel Blazek; Stephen Russell (Heather); Sarah Blazek; Andrew Russell ( Brittney); Matthew Russell (Kristen); Nathan Russell, and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alonso & Susie Eggleston of Roanoke, VA and her sister Mae Reeves of Eden, NC. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of Brightview Baldwin Park Retirement Community and Augusta Health Hospice for the loving care provided to our Mom. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, Oct 30, 2017 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
