Margaret Virostek

Margaret Deane Hood Virostek, 82, of Petersburg died on Monday, December 8, 2008. She was born in Lunenburg Courthouse to the late Ernest Fredrick and Sarah Jane Whirley Hood. Mrs. Virostek was a member of Monumental Baptist Church where she sang in the church Choir and was active in mission work. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carol Joe Virostek; son, C. Joe Virostek, Jr. and grandson, Bradley Thomas. She is survived by her sons, Larry M. Virostek, Allen D. Virostek, and Robert V. Virostek; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends form 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2008 in the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 12, 2008 at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA.
