Margaret “Maggie” Moore Wells, 75, of Prince George, died Friday, September 3, 2004 in John Randolph Medical Center. She was born in Johnston Co., North Carolina and had been a resident of Hopewell-Prince George area since 1951. Mrs. Wells was a retired Secretary at Ft. Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Turner Golden and Thelma Oliver Moore. Surviving are her husband Walter J. Wells of Prince George, a daughter, Rhonda W. Ross of Hopewell, two sons, Gregory J. Wells of Prince George and Robert P. Wells of Kitty Hawk, N.C. four grandchildren, Anthony J. Ross and Carrie M. Ross, Kelli C. Wells and Patterson A. Wells, one great-grandchild Dylan M. Harmon, her sister, Mary Sue Hanford of Raleigh, N.C. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7-8:30P.M. in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004 at 11 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dr. John Carpenter, Interim pastor of First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Appomattox Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Prince George Emergency Crew, P.O.
