Margie Bass

Margie Scott Bass, 75, of Hopewell, VA., She was born in Newton, Grove NC and spent most of her life in the Virginia area. Mrs. Bass was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Alma Jones Scott, her husband, Beryl Joyce â??B.J.â? Bass, her sister, Ruby Scott Custer and two brothers, David J. Scott and Melvin Scott.. Mrs. Bass was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are two sons, Christopher B. Bass and Paul Scott Bass, both of Hopewell, a grandson, Scott Bass of Midlothian, a great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. All services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to her church, Church of the Nazarene, 509 Smithfield Ave., Hopewell, Va 23860. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T.
