Margie Owen Spickerman

Margie Owen Spickerman, 81, of Sutherland, passed away on July 4, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Beatrice Owen; former husbands, Bruce T. Bryant and Lesley W. Spickerman; and brother, Johnny Owen. Margie was employed by Brown and Williamson, working in Petersburg before moving to work for the company in Macon, Georgia where she retired in 1999. She was a member of Poole Christian Church in Dinwiddie. Most of all, Margie was known as a loving mother, a hard worker, and an avid lover of her dogs. She is survived by her son, Bruce Wayne Bryant; brothers, Henry Owen (Jackie), Curtiss Owen (Shirley), Joe Owen, Sr. (Mary Ann), and Floyd Owen (Chrissy); sisters, Hazel Mawyer (Fletcher), Kathy Thayer, Tina Owen, and Ladora Cote; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends at J.T. Morriss & Son - Dinwiddie on Saturday, July 9 from 6-8 PM.
