Margret Soldeck Gafford

Margret S. Gafford, of Dinwiddie, passed away November 2021. She was born and raised in Bremen, Germany. Later in life she purchased a farm in Dinwiddie County, VA where she lived for many years. Margret was a long time equestrian and horse breeder. She had a passion for dressage and show jumping. She also enjoyed breeding her Jack Russells. She was a member of the United States Equestrian Federation, International Federation for Equestrian Sports, VADA, and VHSA. Margret was devoted to the equestrian sport and teaching all of her knowledge to many others. She was preceded in death by daughter, Nicole Gafford; and son Shelton D. Gafford. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com
