Margret Frieda Gray

Margret Frieda Gray, 75, of Petersburg, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elbert Gray; and son-in-law, John Beattie.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Marion Beattie, Marc Watko (Susan), Tonya Dempsey (Robert), and John Souza (Keilana); grandchildren, James Bright (Tiffany), Jessica Hughes (Jamie), KeAndre Souza, Dustin Helmer (Sarah), Kaiyla Souza, and Kaleb Souza; great-grandchildren, Jordan Bright, Skye White, Harper Hughes, and Cooper Bright; and best friends, Margaret Ann Smith and Sylvia Matthews.
Margret Gray was a faithful member of Monumental Baptist Church in Petersburg. She worked there as secretary for many years and loved being with her church family. She will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Monumental Baptist Church, 2925 S. Crater Rd. Petersburg, VA 23805.
