Maria Myrick

Maria Taylor Myrick, 80, of Chesterfield County, widow of Wilson Allen Myrick, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2004. Born in Mecklenburg County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Lucy Simmons Taylor and was a longtime member of Woods United Methodist Church. She is survived by a son, Charles Wilson Myrick and wife, Susan C. Myrick; a daughter, Barbara Myrick Lockhart and husband, Timothy C. Lockhart all of Chesterfield County; grandchildren, Monica Rouse, Melissa Atkins, Michael Myrick, Sharon Jordan, David Lockhart, Roger Tennant, and Roy Tennant, Jr.; thirteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Essie Bickings and Joan Hall; a brother, John Taylor; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 22, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Albert C.
