Marianne Boers Green

Marianne Boers Green, 89 of Petersburg, VA passed away, Wednesday, September 20, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Johann Joseph Boers and Gertrude Gammel Boers; and her loving husband, Cecil Green. She is survived sons, Randy Green and wife Brenda, John Green and wife Robin; grandchildren, Michael Green and wife Missy, Richard Green, Jennifer Norwood, Craig Green and wife Kim; sisters, Marga and Anne in Germany; as well as, numerous extended family and friends. Mrs. Green was a longtime member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Hopewell, VA. She was also a charter member of the German Ladies Damen Club. J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home Hopewell Chapel is assisting with final arrangements. A graveside service will be held, 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 29, 2017 at Southlawn Memorial Park 1911 Birdsong Road.
