Marie Story Bowe

Marie Story Bowe “Nana”, 88, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Monday, Dec 25, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband Carlton E. Bowe; daughters Carolyn Bowe Cogle, Virginia Melanie Shell; Grandchild Crystal Faye Gibbs; and brother, Charles D. Story Jr. She is survived by her daughter Joan Marie Bowe; Grandchildren William Eugene Johnson Jr. (Connie), Deborah Marie Kidd (Delmar), Katherine Marie Petersen (Scott), Daniel Wayne Cogle (Christin), Wanda Lee Ward (Derek), Patricia Lynn Mitchell; and 13 great grandchildren. Marie was a very generous person that always put others ahead of herself, and she will be greatly missed by all. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Crater Community Hospice for their support. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm on Wednesday December 27, at the JT Morriss & Son Funeral Home Petersburg Chapel 103 S. Adams Street.
