Marie Hanzlik Vlk, 80, of Prince George County, widow of Anthony J. ?Tony? Vlk, Sr., passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2005. Born in Prince George, she was the daughter of the late Joseph R. and Emily Chudoba Hanzlik. A lifelong member of the Church of the Sacred Heart, she was preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Uzel. Marie is survived by six daughters, Marie Winner and husband, Fred of Castalia, N. C., Betty Stewart, Patsy Blackburn and husband, Eddie, Carol Martin and husband, Charlie, Theresa Vlk, and Ann Wood and husband, Bobby all of Prince George; two sons, Tony J. Vlk, Jr. and wife, Peggy of Prince George and Paul E. Vlk and wife, Debbie of Chesterfield; 30 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Edward Hanzlik and wife, Evelyn of Prince George. A Christian wake service will be held at 7 PM Friday, April 29, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday, at the Church of the Sacred Heart, New Bohemia, with interment following in the church cemetery.
