Marie Kratochvil Leddy

Marie Kratochvil Leddy, 90, of Chesterfield, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Born in Prince George, VA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Kratochvil, Sr. and Lydia Shredl Kratochvil. She was also preceded in death by brother, Charles A. Kratochvil, Jr.; and sister, Helen Jarrell. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bernard “Barney” M. Leddy; nephew, Guy B. Rose, III.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Marie was employed with Titmus Optical retiring after 44 years. She had a kind heart and showed loved for all animals. Marie and her husband enjoyed traveling the world together having cruised the high seas on 50 occasions. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to meet at the funeral home on Friday, April 22, 2016, where a procession will depart for the church at 9:15 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Memorial Chapel, Fort Lee, 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
