Marion Blick

Marian Evelyn Worsham Blick, 88, widow of Robert Lee Blick, Sr., passed away on August 9, 2009 at Agape Nursing and Rehab Center, West Columbia, SC. Formerly a resident of Petersburg and Disputanta, VA, she had lived in Cayce, SC for the past 11 years to be near her daughter and her daughterâ??s family. Mrs. Blick was born January 31, 1921, in Richmond, VA, to the late Latimer Phillip and Daisy Dean Utley Worsham. She married Robert Lee Blick, Sr. at a very young age and devoted her life to being a homemaker, raising their two children, as well as, being a helpmate and partner in her husbands business endeavors, the final being the Blue Wagon Specialty Company of Petersburg, VA. She was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church in Petersburg, VA. Mrs. Blick is survived by her loving and caregiving daughter Marie Blick Tinch and her husband, Darrel Ray Tinch of Cayce, SC; her grandson, Kevin Lee Tinch and his wife, Emily Shealy Tinch; and great-granddaughters, Caroline Evelyn Tinch and Helen Elizabeth Tinch, of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by her son Robert L. Blick, Jr. and his wife Sylvia Blick, of Seffner, FL; and grandchildren Bobby Blick, Sherry Blick, and Jason Blick. Other survivors include sister-in-law Lily Mae Wyatt of Petersburg, VA; brothers-in-law Marvin Blick of Prince George, VA, and Morris Blick of Mojave, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Blick is predeceased by her husband and her brother Herbert Lee Worsham. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with interment following in Southlawn Memorial Park.
