Marion Yvonne Harris, 53, of Hopewell, died Sunday, May 15, 2005 in John Randolph Medical Center. Mrs. Harris was born in Roanoke Rapids, NC. She was a member of Red Bud Baptist Church, Castalia, NC. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her mother, Katie Gregory Shearin, sister, Brenda Kay Webb, and her mother-in-law, Mary Pauley. She is survived by her husband, Truman P. Harris of Hopewell, a daughter, Michele H. Riddle and her husband Jimmy, two sons, Robert ?Bobby? P. Harris and his wife, Terri, Richard A. Harris and his wife, Amanda, all of Prince George, her father George L. Shearin, Sr. and his wife, Barbara, a brother, George L. Shearin, Jr., and his wife, Nellie Ann, all of Castalia, NC, two sisters, Judy A. House and her husband Ricki of Hopewell, Tonja S. Philbeck and her husband Travis of Castalia, NC, four grandchildren, Trevor C. Riddle; Travis P. Riddle; Danielle, ?Dani? Harris; Robert ?Robby? P. Harris, Jr., her father-in-law, Charles ?Bubby? Pauley of Roanoke, VA, her dog, Tessy Harris, and loving neighbors, Nancy & Bo Carrol, Janice & Glen Fuzy, Ralph & Pat Huber and others. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 17, 2005 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Leo Lowery, pastor of Red Bud Baptist Church, officiating.
