Marion "Mac" Mcferrin

Marion N. "Mac" McFerrin, 78, of Landrum, SC and Chesapeake, VA, husband of Mattie Rea Crickman McFerrin. He was born in Lincoln, GA, father to five sons and two daughters, grandfather to seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren, has finished his race here on earth. He leaves behind his immediate family and his brothers, Allen, Gary and Tracy of Gloucester, sisters, Shirley McFerrin of FL and Becky McClain of McCormick, SC.
Mac leaves a legacy of servant hood, always giving, never asking. He was a Navy Veteran, Master Builder, and Minister and he leaves behind many homes and lives to which he put his hand.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00pm on August 21, 2011 at J.T. Morris& Son Funeral Home in Wakefield followed by a Graveside Service in Claremont Cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.pettyfuneralhome.com .
