Marjorie Taylor Hough

Marjorie Taylor Hough, 96, passed away from this life into her eternal rest at her home in Martin County on June 23, 2017. Mrs. Hough was a long time resident of South Florida. She was very active in Real Estate and Social Life in Palm Beach. Margie was born on July 25th, 1920 in Grimesland, NC and was the daughter of the late James Madison Taylor and Janette Mayo Taylor. She was preceded in death by her three brothers, Johnny, Walter and William Ray Taylor, and two sisters Louise Radford and Katie Hall Posey. Also, preceded were three spouses, James Hough, Gilbert King and Col. Edwin Crabill. In her later years she married her loving companion, and is survived by her husband Carl Humpfer, of Tequesta, Florida
Surviving relatives are nieces, Phyllis Ann Reish of Chester, Viola Watson of Hopewell, Margerie Green of Lake Worth, FL., Crystal Lee Moss of Gap, Pennsylvania and nephew Glenn Wayne Taylor of Hopewell, VA, and other Great nieces and nephews. Also to mention are very special friends, Anne Senterfett of Jupitor, Florida and a longtime friend, Luanne Simpson of Newport News, VA. Marjorie will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 2 o’clock , Appomattox Cemetery in Hopewell, Virginia. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
