Marjorie Collier Kelly, 81 of Prince George Co., died Wednesday, August 10, 2005. She was a native of Petersburg and the daughter of the late Herbert P. Collier, Sr. and Nora H. Collier. She was the widow of Walter R. Kelly. She was a lifelong member of West End Baptist Church, longtime outreach director for Adult III Sunday School, member of the choir, founding member of Burlington garden Club, former member of Petersburg Federated Women?s Club, board member of American Cancer Society, Gerow Ruritan Community Women?s Auxillary, member of the AARP-Crater Chapter, worked six years as a hostess at the Dixie Restaurant. She is survived by her daughter, Karen K. Becker and husband, Worther Guy, III of Prince George; grandson, Worther Guy Becker, IV of Richmond; niece, Joanne H. Williams of Prince George. Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 pm, August 12, 2005 at Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 pm Thursday at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Memorial Contributions may be made to the West End Baptist Church, 6506 Boydton Plank Road, Petersburg, VA 23803.
