Marjorie M.

Marjorie Mae Lee, age 84, of Petersburg, VA., died on November 12, 2007. She was born in Mason City, IA, the daughter of the late Russell Thompson and Gertrude Jeffries Thompson. Marjorie was a long standing member of St. Josephâ??s Catholic Church and a strong supporter and participant of the Outreach Program. She was a very devoted army wife and mother embracing each move and new location that the career of her late husband took them. She loved playing bridge, listening to music, especially the opera, and was a nature lover. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Lt. Col. Robert C. Lee Ret. She is survived by three children, Thomas R. Lee, and wife Kathi, of Midlothian, VA and their daughters Erin and Meredith Lee, Cynthia L. Brewer, and husband Robert, of Chesapeake, VA, and their sons Christopher, Nicholas, and Stephen Brewer, Mary L. Kozak and husband Martin J., of Chester, and their son Thomas Kozak, and wife Amanda, and daughters Kathleen McCarty, and husband Michael, and Margaret Kozak; and two great grand-daughters, Maggie McCarty and Gracie Kozak. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held there on Thursday, at 11 a.m. with interment following in Southlawn Memorial Park at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Josephâ??s Outreach Program at 151 West Washington Street, Petersburg, VA 23803.
