Mark Griffin

Mark Emory Griffin, 34, of Columbus, Ohio and formerly of Charlottesville and Dinwiddie, VA, died Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at Columbus Subacute and Rehabilitation Center. Mark attended Technical School and the Church of God. He loved music, movies and sports. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wiley Griffin and Ruby Coleman. Mark is survived by his loving parents, Robert E. and Joyce C. Griffin; son, Hunter Dean Powell; two brothers, Glen A. (Deborah) Griffin and Travis W. (Jennifer) Griffin; maternal grandparents, William R. and Margaret Caton; nieces, Erica, Danielle and Brooke; Hunter’s mother, Cathleen Powell and Hunter’s sisters, Heather and Haley Powell. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 21, 2004 from 2:00 to 3:00PM in the Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Hopewell, VA. A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM in the funeral home chapel following the visitation, with the Rev. Troy Kaichen officiating. Interment will be in Bermuda Memorial Park, Chesterfield County, VA.
