Martha Hudson Cairnes

Martha Ann "Molly" Hudson Cairnes, 88, of Sutherland, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 16, 2023. She was born and raised in Ford, Virginia. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard T. Cairnes; and her son, Howard "Randy" Cairnes; as well as her parents, Arthur and Leta Hudson; and all of her siblings (10). She is survived by her son, Anthony "Al" Cairnes (Debbie); and two grandsons, Timothy "Timmy" Cairnes and Brandon Cairnes. She is also survived by her lifelong friend, Susan Lamm Stone.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 20, 2023, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morris & Son Funeral Home, 6616 Boydton Plank Road, North Dinwiddie, VA 23803. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 21, 2023, at the funeral home, followed by interment at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, North Prince George, VA 23805.
