Martha Clark Frazier

Martha Clark Frazier, 85, of Petersburg, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Born in Buncombe County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Robert Hiram and Leura Fox Clark. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Fushia Glass and Eva Munford, and a brother, Clyde Clark. Mrs. Frazier was a former employee of C & P Telephone Company but became a homemaker with the birth of her first child. She was a longtime member of West End Baptist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, and Burlington Garden Club. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert Lee Frazier; sons, Mark Lee Frazier and Eric Clark Frazier; daughter, Kristine “Kris” Frazier; grandsons, Justin Lee Frazier and Mason Lee Frazier; great-granddaughter, Austin Lee Frazier; brother, James Willard Clark; special niece, Leura Kay Armentrout; special caregiver, Melissa Dear Connelly, several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014 at West End Baptist Church followed by interment at Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
