Martha Robinson

Martha Ellen Robinson, 93, of Chester, Virginia, died peacefully at her home on October 17, 2024, surrounded by her three devoted children.

Martha was born in Stockdale, Ohio, 1930, to Lt. Col. Paul H. Jones, M.D. and Corda Ellen Jones. While a small woman in stature, she was larger than life. She had a quick wit, and was proud and protective of her family. She maintained strong ties to her friends and family in Ohio. Martha also loved reading, traveling, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Paul Jones; and sister, Mary Constance Gammon. She is survived by her children, Toney Scott Moulton, Paul Chandler Moulton, and Melissa Ellen Haley (Steve); as well as grandchildren, Kristin Ellen Hill (Trip), Schuyler Rae Brown, and Jessica West Champagne (Tyler); and great-grandchildren, Olive Latham-Hill, and Cameron West Champagne.

Martha will be cremated and ashes scattered in all the places she loved most. To honor her wishes, services will be private. I invite you to please privately celebrate Martha's memory in your own ways. She will most certainly be with us all in spirit.
