Martha Faye Scott, 83, of Hopewell, VA, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021. Born in Florence, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Paul Scott and Bernice Edna Jordan Scott.
She is survived by her son, Linwood Todd Jarrett and his wife, Carrie Anne; daughter, Jennifer Jarrett Elliott; grandchildren, Matt Elliott and Meaghan Elliott; and 4 siblings.
Martha Scott was a life-long resident of Hopewell, VA. She was manager of the Beacon Theatre in the mid 1950’s. She had a kind heart and loved all animals. Martha is loved by her family and will be dearly missed.
A private graveside service will be held at Appomattox Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to your local SPCA. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
