Martin Foederer

Martin â??Martyâ? J. Foederer, 88, of Dinwiddie, VA died Sunday, August 26, 2007. He was born in Syracuse, NY the son of the late Norman Michael and Catherine Britting Foederer. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Doris Maitland Foederer and Sisters Mary Lough and Emma Abbott. Mr. Foederer was retired from Allied Chemical as a Oiler. He was a member of the Hopewell Moose Lodge, the VFW and the American Legion Post 284. He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Foederer Gill and husband, Charlie of Church Road, VA; a son; grandsons, Jason Martin Gill and wife, Heather of Chesterfield, VA, Justin Gill and wife Krystal of Newport News, VA, Chris Foederer and wife Nicole of Colonial Heights, VA and William Foederer and wife Maggie of Norfolk, VA; Seven great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and several sisters and brother-in-law. A Graveside service will be held at the Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg on Tuesday the 28th of August at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Dinwiddie Rescue Squad.
